CVS Steal of A Deal! I Spent 24 cents!

I was going to use my $5 Extra Bucks at CVS today to scoop up the .99 cents Always Infinity pads, but when I got to the store and scanned my card at the magic coupon giver, I got a $5 off $15 coupon there! Score! I put my $5 Extra Bucks back in my wallet to spend another day and did this deal:

3 Always Infinity Pads $4.99 each

-3 coupons for $4 off Always pads in the June P&G

1 Milky Way Fun pack $1.50

I gave the cashier my $5 off $15 first then my other Always coupons and the total was...Applause please.....

.24 Cents

Thank you CVS for my (very close to) free things today.

Get an Old Navy Coupon for yourself!

The Old Navy coupon is back and should reset today. Remember that to get the good ones, you need to be online when they are released. I am hoping for one because they have a half off men's sale this week and my hubby wants new clothes. If I can get 1/2 off then a $75 off $100 coupon, that would be awesome! I am having 2 websites up simulataneously. The first is http://oldnavyweekly.com and the other is a chat room at http://www.swaggrabber.com . The people in there are experienced coupon hunters and will share all their clues with you when the coupons become active. If you have never hunted for these coupons before, practice finding them at http://media.oldnavyweekly.com (this is the old site). That way you will know what to expect.

Totals for Albertsons Buy $25 and get $10 back sale

I am finished with my Albertsons shopping now for this sale. I basically bought everything on the list for the $25 deal that had a coupon for it. Most of the coupons I got online but there were a couple from the Red Plum. In addition to the picture in the last post, I also got the following(Sorry there is no picture for the rest):
8 bags Chex Mix
2 boxes cherios (make sure to grab the right ones)
4 boxes of Coca Puffs
2 boxes of Trix
1 bag of Bugles
6 boxes of GoGurt (I made a mistake on this- they are with this deal in other parts of the country but not in Henderson)
1 box cake mix Betty Crocker
3 more Wishbone Salad Spritzers
With my last $10 coupon I bought (things I really needed):
4 gallons of milk
1 Morton Water Softener Salt

The total for all these items before sales and coupons would have been $265.13 according to the savings boxes added up for all 6 transactions, but with my $10 coupons and sales and my Manufacturers and internet coupons, I only paid $55.33!

The Albertsons sale is the BOMB! Spend $25 and get $10 back!

I just went to Albertsons to check out their buy $25 in selected items and get $10 back. It worked perfectly! I did 2 transactions and got my $10 coupon each time. If you want to do this too, a great resourse is AThriftyMom. She also has a great Questions and Answers about the sale here. She has all the links to print out these coupons (I did with 2 computers) and then you hand them your stack of coupons and you are getting these items for pennies! My total for my first transaction was $17.65 and my second transaction was $5.95 with another $10 coupon for my next trip !

Walgreens Super Run $9.84 for 14 items with $10 RR for next time!

These were the results from my Walgreens trip today. On each transaction I ran my loot the the car and came back in to shop again so I wouldn't get confused and so the cashier wouldn't say too much.
Transaction #1
Bayer Glucose Meter On Sale for $10
-Bayer up to $30 coupon (They will adjust it down to $10)
Total Paid= $0.77 (Tax in NV) and got $10 Register Reward!

Transaction #2
2 Fiber Plus Granola Bars 2 @ $2.50
2 Kellogs Cereal Bars 2 @ $2.50
1 Ecotrin Asprin 45 ct $2.00
-1 Ecotrin $2
-$10 Register Reward from Trans #1
Paid $0.15 Out of Pocket and got a $2 RR from the Ecotrin and $3 RR from the Fiber Plus and Kellogs Bars.

Transaction #3
Bag O Socks (10 Pair) $2 (This was different in the ad but in store, it was even less)
Jane Eye Stix $1 (On Clearance)
Bayer Glucose Meter $10
-$30 Bayer Glucose Meter coupon (Adjusted to $10)
-Used the $3 RR from Trans 2
Paid $1.01 Out of Pocket and got a $10 RR from Bayer

Transaction #4
Bakugan Game for a Birthday present $9.99
Fly Swatter #1 $.99 (Need it for a kids' game I am in charge of on Sunday)
-$10 RR from Trans #3
Total $1.83 ($.85 Tax)

Transaction #5
Bayer Glucose Meter $10
Fly Swatter #2 $.99
-$30 Bayer Glucose Meter coupon (Adjusted to $10)
Total $1.84 and Got a $10 RR from Bayer

Transaction #6
Revlon Pink Blowdryer $12.99
Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner $19.99
M&M's $.69 for filler (Had to act fast because I forgot about the 1 coupon per item rule)
-$10 RR from Trans #5
-$2 RR from Trans #2
-$19.99 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon (I bought one for $4 when it was on sale at Walgreens but it didn't work. I called the company and they sent me a coupon for a new one.)
Total $4.24 ($1.68 plus $2.56 tax- NV is expensive) and I got a $10 RR back from the Revlon Blowdryer
SO My grand total for all these Items= $9.84

So, my grand total for 14 items was $9.84 and I still have a $10 RR to shop with next week. I was very happy with my trip to Walgreens!

CVS Diaper Run

I thought I had enough diapers for months, but Soren was sick for almost 3 weeks and we went through those diapers fast! This was the best deal I could find. I was going to buy 2 Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreens and get $10 back but then I looked at them and discovered that they were not really sunscreens. Not good for Las Vegas. The diapers were $8.99 each and I had one $2 coupon and one $1.50 coupon. Total out of pocket was $15.87. Better Luck next time!

Target for 40 Cents!

I didn't buy a lot of things, but what I did buy was esentially free! (OK so the soda was frivolous but I still have the tendency to impulse purchase). The Degree deodorants were $1.97 not $2.49 like they were in the rest of the country so I ended up making money on those to pay for my soda. So, I used the $1.50 off Target coupon from Red Plum and the $1 off coupon from SS. I only spent $0.40 on this trip. I would have bought more deodorants if I had the coupons for them. I was looking for more items (Quaker Pancake mix and the Hefty trial size bags) but I tend to stike out at Target quite a bit.

Walgreens Shopping Trip

Guess how much I spent at Walgreens today for all this loot? Stay tuned I will update...

Old Navy Coupons!

Did you know that at Old Navy Weekly they have coupons available? These are not just any old coupons, they are GREAT COUPONS! The way it works is that on the first day the new coupons are released, they have these awesome coupons, but only a limited number of them. This week there were $75 off $100 coupons (yes, you are reading this right), $50 off $100 coupons and 30% off $50 and other lesser coupons. I wasn't able to get the $75 off $100 because they went in a matter of minutes but I was able to get a $50 off $100 coupon. I went shopping today and I did better at Old Navy than I would have at Goodwill. Seriously. I will let you know when the next coupon release is.

Register Rewards at Walgreens

I am a little embarrassed that I bought that many Glucose meters. I bought 6 of them last week. Does anybody need a meter? I will have to find a good home for them. Anyway, with my $30 of Register Rewards, I bought squirt guns for my son's birthday party. I think the kids will like them and they were not so pricey for me. I also have eye patches and swords coming from Oriental Trading company. We are having a treasure hunt party with a pirate theme. Fun times.

Scotch 3M Command Hooks

I went to CVS for the Scotch 3M Command Metal Hooks. I couldn't find them anywhere (4 stores) so finally I had them write me a raincheck. On the raincheck I noticed that they can write in how many extra bucks you should get so I had them write that too.
6 3M Command hooks=$15
6 $2.50 off coupons=$0 plus tax!
5 Extra Bucks Back
I did buy 3 Easter Baskets though for 90% off. I am going to take them apart and use them for the treasure chest at Sterling's party. Regular price $7.99, my price $.79.
